Expectations

The truth is no one will live up to your personal expectations. No one. If you judge people based on your view, then you will constantly be disappointed. Invest in the practice of not taking things personally. Get that every single person has their own philosophy in their heads and everyone has their own value system. Don't take any of it personally because everyone has their own method of protecting themselves. The best thing to do is clearly communicate your intent and how you would like to be treated and hope for the best. Don't try to change anyone.
